The Mordecai Puryear House is a circa 1830 center-hall house in Franklin, Tennessee. Mordecai Puryear was one of ten original $5,000 investors in the National Bank of Franklin in 1871. The bank "was one of the primary financial institutions of the county" until it failed in the Great Depression, in 1926.[2]:30

The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. When listed it included two contributing buildings on an area of 4 acres (1.6 ha).[1] The house has been included in a tour of historic Franklin houses.[3]

Significant years[vague] mentioned in the history of the property are c. 1830, c. 1850, and c. 1907.[1]
