Mike Cotten (born December 12, 1939) is a former American football player and lawyer. The Uvalde, Texas native played quarterback for the Texas Longhorns in 1960 and '61, after sharing quarterbacking duties with Bobby Lackey in 1959. Cotten was a neighbor of Darrell Royal while in high school.
He graduated from Texas in 1962 and received his juris doctor from the University of Texas School of Law in 1965. Cotten later became a shareholder at Clark, Thomas & Winters, a Austin, Texas law firm.
