Nahavand County (Persian: شهرستان نهاوند) is a county in Hamadan Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Nahavand. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 30,903, in 7,490 families.[1] The county is subdivided into four districts: the Central District, Giyan District, Zarrin Dasht District, and Khezel District. The county has four cities: Nahavand, Barzul, Giyan, and Firuzan.
