Christopher Howe was born in Dearborn, MI (USA), but grew up in Shelby Township, MI where he attended Dwight D. Eisenhower High School.

Howe was selected for Going Back by the film's director, Ron Teachworth, who knew him from a filmmaking class at Eisenhower H.S.[1] (Teachworth was the class's instructor, Howe was a student.) By the time of the film's production, Howe was a Theater Arts student at Oakland University in Rochester, MI. He went on to graduate OU and attend a Master's program in Theater at Penn State University, and also served as an actor/teacher-in-residence at The Egg in Albany, NY.

Howe is currently a resident of Rochester Hills, MI.

Other film roles

Not long after the completion of Going Back, Christopher starred as a young millionaire in the John Prusak short film Hefty's. (Prusak was the cinematographer for Going Back and the Michael Moore film Roger & Me.) Spider-Man director Sam Raimi also appears in Hefty's as a short-order cook.

Howe was very active in theater programs in Chicago and Detroit for many years following Going Back's release. He also had minor roles in Daniel Stern's Rookie of the Year, starring Gary Busey and Thomas Ian Nicholas, and the independent film Timequest starring Victor Slezak, Larry Drake and Bruce Campbell.

Current work

In February–March, 2009, Christopher starred onstage in the comedy Kong's Night Out at Meadowbrook Theater in Rochester, MI. Also starring in the production were Cindy Williams and Eddie Mekka of Laverne & Shirley fame. In January, 2010, Howe also starred in the Meadowbrook production of the French farce Boeing-Boeing. Howe reprised the role of Bernard, played by Tony Curtis in the 1965 film of the same name. His co-star was former Days of Our Lives actor, Steve Blackwood.
