"The Ultimate Hits" is an album from country music artist Garth Brooks, released on November 6, 2007. Brooks has said that "The Ultimate Hits" comprises 34 songs (four of which are new) over two compact discs, as well as a DVD containing his music videos. As his two-year exclusivity deal with Wal-Mart expired in the summer of 2007, the album will be distributed to all retailers through Pearl Records. The first single released from the album, "More Than a Memory", made US country chart history the week of September 15, 2007, when it debuted at #1, the first to do so. The other new singles are (current) "Midnight Sun" (written by Brooks, Jerrod Niemann, and Richie Brown), "Leave the Light On" (Randy Goodrum and Tommy Sims), and "Workin' for a Livin'" which peaked in the Top 20.

On October 15, 2007, it was announced there will be a special pink edition. Proceeds from albums with pink covers will go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

The album debuted at number three on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, selling about 352,000 copies in its first week.
