Robert Morris College is a Illinois based college that has its main campus in Chicago. It also has campuses in Bensenville, DuPage County, Lake County, Orland Park, Peoria, and Springfield, as well as smaller satellite campuses at High Schools in the suburbs of Chicago. It is a private, not-for-profit, accredited institution. It offers associate and bachelor's degrees through the School of Business Administration, Institute of Art and Design, School of Computer Studies, Institute of Culinary Arts and the School of Health Studies. In 2006, the Robert Morris College School of Graduate Studies was established, providing Master of Business Administration and Master of Information Systems programs at the Chicago, DuPage and Orland Park campuses. Although it is named after Robert Morris, it is not affiliated with Robert Morris University of Pennsylvania.

RMC sports teams use the Eagle mascot and the school has one of the largest athletic programs in the state, including basketball, cross country, track, soccer, volleyball, tennis, softball, baseball, bowling, golf, hockey and dance. They are members of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and compete in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference. RMC's men's basketball is one of the dominant programs in the NAIA, having reached the Final Four of the NAIA tournament three times in the last five years. Head Coach Al Bruehl has averaged thirty wins a season during that time and has never won fewer than 25 games in his nine years at the helm of the Eagles.

The Women's Hockey team won the 2005 American Collegiate Hockey Association national championship and were runners-up in 2006. Under Head Coach John Burke, the Lady Eagles were ranked #1 in the nation for more than 100 consecutive weeks.
