The Runners is a hip hop production duo from Orlando, Florida, consisting of Andrew "Dru Brett" Harr and Jermaine "Mayne Zayne" Jackson. They came together to form the team in 2000, but they have known each other since they were in kindergarten. They are best known for producing the hit single "Hustlin'", by rapper Rick Ross. They have also produced songs for artists like Fat Joe, Juelz Santana, Jim Jones and Lil Wayne. They are currently working on songs for Danity Kane, Day26, Teairra Mari, Jadakiss, T.I., Young Jeezy, Trey Songz, Christina Milian, Ciara, and Mariah Carey. A trademark of their production style so far has been to sample slowed-down, repeated vocals for a song's hook. The chorus to Rick Ross's "Hustlin'" includes the lines "Everyday I'm hustlin'" and "Real hard" repeated several times, and the chorus to Jim Jones's "Reppin' Time" includes "When it's reppin' time" and "Dip-Dip-Dipset" repeated in the same manner. They also include a bass pattern followed by the sound of "AHHH" like something refreshing. It is predominantly heard at the beginning of every song they produce. Other examples of repeating vocals on a song's hook are on the songs "Where Da Cash At" by Currency featuring Lil Wayne and Remy Ma, and "Money On My Mind" by Lil Wayne. Also, they seem to have a strange formula. Three Def Jam artists have had beats done by them, with a hook performed by R. Kelly but wrote by Floridian R&B singer Kevin Cossom a.k.a. K.C. Those artists are Young Jeezy with "Go Getta", Rick Ross with "Speedin'", and Beanie Sigel with "All of the Above".

They also have their own label, Trac-N-Field Entertainment. The rapper Bali is their first artist signed in.
