"Daytime Friends" is the title of a song written by Ben Peters and recorded by American country music artist Kenny Rogers. It was released in August 1977 as the lead single from the album of the same name, 1977 album and was written by Ben Peters. "Daytime Friends" was Kenny Rogers' second number one country hit as a solo artist. The single stayed at number one for one week and spent a total of twelve weeks on the country chart [1]. In 2002, the song was covered Irish pop group Westlife.

Content

The song is a mid-tempo, about two cheating people who are friends during the day but have an extramarital affair at night.
