Lecanvey ( _ga. Leac an Anfa) is a seaside village in County Mayo, Ireland, between Westport and Louisburgh, about 2km west of Murrisk. It has a Catholic church to which is annexed the Lecanvey Community Centre, a small beach (with Lecanvey Pier), and two pubs. To the south is Croagh Patrick.
The Lecanvey Community Alliance was recently constituted["Mayo News", "Local Notes", p. 21, 2006-07-26] to improve the environment of the area, which doesn't fall into the catchment area of Murrisk or of Louisburgh.
