Amone played four times for Tonga in 1987, including twice in the 1987 Rugby World Cup.[4]
His rugby union position was fly-half.[4]
Rugby league
He played for Tonga in the 1995 Rugby League World Cup.[5]
He was a Featherstone Rovers player[6] who also played for the Halifax Blue Sox.[2][7]
First Division Grand Final Appearances
Asa Amone was a playing substitute in Featherstone Rovers's 22-24 defeat to Wakefield Trinity in the 1998 First Division Grand Final at McAlpine Stadium, Huddersfield on 26 September 1998.[8]
