Sergey Igorevich Dmitriev (Russian: Сергей Игоревич Дмитриев; born March 19, 1964) is a former Russian footballer.

On 15 April 2007 Brunei National football announced that Dmitriev will have the position as Bruneian coach. As in May 2008, he was the coach of Brunei. He would improve the formation of the team, technique, and the strategy that they use. He wanted the Brunei team to qualify for the 2008 ASEAN Football Championship .

* Russian Premier League winner: 1997.
* Russian Cup winner: 1998.

International career

He earned 6 caps for the USSR national football team, and was on the squad for UEFA Euro 1988, but did not play in any games at the tournament. He scored his only goal for USSR on February 2, 1985 in a friendly against Morocco.
