Solas Festival is an Irish music festival which took place in the grounds of Huntington Castle, Clonegal in County Carlow on Saturday August 16 and Sunday August 17 2008. Early bird tickets for the two-day camping event were purchasable now from www.tickets.ie, priced €120 with a €7 booking fee. The festival started at midday on both days. Free parking and camping were provided.

Performances

Dirty Epics, Noise Control, StarLittleThing and The Coronas were amongst the performing acts. Other acts confirmed to make an appearance included Kíla, Preston Reed, Don Ross, Andy McKee, Travega, Rocket Surgery, Alloy Mental, God Is an Astronaut, Audiojack, Alex Under,Bovine Frenzy, Dinky, Produse, Chymera, Sian and Eddie Brennan. Promising "a new era in quality boutique festivals," the festival took place at Huntingdon Castle, Clonegal, Co. Carlow on August 16-17. Tickets were priced at €120, including camping. Capacity was 4,000.
