The 9th Annual Latin Grammy Awards will take Place on November 13, 2008. It will be held at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas and will be aired on Univision. Nominees Will be announced on September 10 2008. In addition to that the Academy's Persona Del Ano Will be Gloria Estefan. In addition she will become the first artist to receive this honor as well as the MusiCares Person of the Year honor which she received in 1994 prior to the Grammy Awards. Special award recipients and hall of fame inductees will be announced later.
