6RPH Information Radio broadcasts on 990 kHz AM and is operated by the "Foundation for Information Radio of Western Australia". It aims to provide equity through access to printed information for Western Australians with a print disability. Its radio reading service is available on 990 AM throughout the wider Perth metropolitan area, and to all of Australia via the Optus Aurora satellite service.

Radio 6PM occupied this frequency until the 1980s.
