Ian Ramsey C of E Secondary School is a Church of England voluntary aided comprehensive school located in Stockton-on-Tees, England. It is named after Bishop Ian Ramsey, a former Bishop of Durham. The current Head Teacher is Mike Davison. Ian Ramsey has 5 year groups. The school is always oversubscribed.

Academic standards

The school gained specialist status in languages in 1999.

The November 2007 Ofsted Report rated the school as "Good", point two on a four point scale. The inspectors said "This is a good school. Standards are above average and students’ achievement is good. ... Some aspects of the school’s work are outstanding. ... Building Schools for the Future

The 'Building Schools for the Future' investment programme aims to rebuild or renew nearly every secondary school in England. Ian Ramsey has asked that they rebuild on their current site, instead of moving to a new site.
