Franklin Pierce University is a four-year liberal-arts university in rural Rindge, New Hampshire, founded in 1962 and named after Franklin Pierce, the New Hampshire-born 14th President of the United States. The university has an enrollment of 1,700 [http://www.franklinpierce.edu/about/facts.htm] students, and is located a few miles from Mount Monadnock, overlooking Pearly Pond.
