Everard (or Everard of Calne) was a medieval Bishop of Norwich.

Life

He was from Calne in Wiltshire. He was a royal chaplain and held prebends in the diocese of London as well as an archdeacon in the diocese of Salisbury. [http://british-history.ac.uk/report.aspx?compid=33866 British History Online Bishops of Norwich] accessed on October 29, 2007]

He was consecrated on June 12 1121. He resigned the see in 1145 to be a monk at the Cistercian monastery of Fontenay in the Cote-d'Or in France.

He died on October 12 probably in 1146.Powicke "Handbook of British Chronology" p. 242] He was buried at Fontenay before September 21 1147.
