The Crested Bunting (Melophus lathami) is a species of bird in the Emberizidae family, from South and Southeast Asia. It is monotypic (the sole species) in its genus, Melophus.^{[citation needed]}

Range

Call

It is found in Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Laos, Burma, Nepal, Pakistan, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Habitat

Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical dry lowland grassland.
