London Buses route 253 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, United Kingdom. The service is currently contracted to Arriva London.

History

For many years, route 253 operated as two separate but overlapping routes, one from Euston railway station to Hackney Central railway station, and the other from Aldgate tube station to Holloway "Nag's Head". The latter service was finally and sensibly given its own number, the 254, in 2003.
