The Longacres Mile Handicap is an American Thoroughbred horse race held annually in August at Emerald Downs in Auburn, Washington. The race is open horses three years of age and older and is run on dirt over a distance of one mile (eight furlongs). A Grade III event, currently offering a purse of $400,000, it is the showpiece of the Emerald Downs' race meeting.

Part of the Breeders' Cup Challenge series, the winner of the 2008 Longacres Mile automatically qualifies for the Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile. [http://www.breederscup.com/challenge.aspx]

First run in 1935 at Longacres Racetrack in Renton, after the track's closing in September 1992, for the next three years the race was run at Yakima Meadows. In 1996 it was moved to its present location.

In 2008, Jennifer Whitaker became the first female jockey to win the Longacres Mile.

In 2003, Sky Jack set the record for the both the fastest time and widest margin of victory at 1:33.00 and 6 ¼ lengths.
