Sir John Chetwode, 4th Baronet (11 May 1764 – 17 December 1845) was a British politician.
Baptised in Stockport in Cheshire, he was the son of Sir John Chetwode, 3rd Baronet and Dorothy Bretland. In 1779, he succeeded to his father's baronetcy. Chetwode was Sheriff of Cheshire in 1789. From 1815 to 1818, he was Member of Parliament (MP) for Newcastle-under-Lyme and from 1841 to 1845 for Buckingham. Chetwode died in Bognor in Sussex and was buried in Mucklestone in Staffordshire.
On 26 October 1785, he married firstly Lady Henrietta Grey, daughter of the 5th Earl of Stamford in Dunham Massey in Cheshire and on 16 May 1827, secondly Elizabeth Bristow, daughter of John Bristow in Hammersmith in London. He had a daughter and four sons, including his heir John Newdigate-Ludford-Chetwode by his first wife.
