"Breaking Me Down" is a pop-Rock and influenced R&B song produced for British singer Maria Lawson's second album, "Emotional Rollercoaster".

The song is the album's lead single for the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. It was released as a digital download on September 6, 2008 and released on CD single format on September 8, 2008. As well as the radio tour Maria has performed at various low key festivals.Despite her previous single 'Sleepwalking' being A Listed by Radio 2, they have not playlisted 'Breaking Me Down' yet. However, the song has been played several times on the Terry Wogan show the week before release.
