Coryse Borg

Coryse Borg, is an actress and director who lives in Żebbuġ, Malta. Borg has appeared in a range of productions, both in the theatre and in the movies.

Her acting career started as a chicken in an MADC Pantomime. She later appeared in the films Gladiator, Revelation and Helen of Troy. In between, she played various parts both in comedies and straight theatrical productions, including Shakespeare and musicals. In 2007 she starred in a Malta Arts Festival production of A Midsummer Nights' Dream, organised by the Malta Council for Culture and the Arts.^[1]

She also played 'Sharon' in the TV series Dejjem Tiegħek Becky. Other Maltese theatre roles included: Sylvia in Life x 3,^[2] As You Like It, West Side Story and Jack and the Beanstalk.^[3] She has also written for a number of other productions,^[4] and Malta George Cross, a film that Borg worked on with students at the San Andrea School, won Best Screenplay by the Jury of the Documentary and Fiction Festival of Hollywood in 2007.^[5]

Her directing credits include Glorious, the story of Florence Foster Jenkins,^[6] an MADC production of Audacity,^[7]
