William Moffat

William Moffat

William Moffat (born: - died: ) was a politician from Alberta, Canada.

Moffat was elected in the 1913 Alberta general election in a hotly contested election. He served as a back bencher for the Alberta Liberal Party.

Moffat was defeated by Louise McKinney who became the first woman elected to a Legislature in the British Empire during the 1917 Alberta general election, he never returned to provincial politics.
