Chinnodu (Telugu: చిన్నోడు) is a 2006 Tollywood film that stars Sumanth, Charmme Kaur, and Rahul Dev. It is directed by Kanmani. It was a moderate success at the box office. It was later dubbed into Hindi under the title Ek aur Ilzaam

Plot

Chinna (Sumanth) is born in jail, where his convict mother dies at childbirth. Jailer (Chandra Mohan) feels sorry for Chinna and adopts him. He brings Chinna up along with his son, Sanjay (Rajiv Kanakala) and daughter. In a dramatic situation, Chinna kills the Jailer’s brother and put in jail. Upon release, the jailer's family keeps him at distance and tell him never to show his face again to them. Chinna takes shelter at a cycle stand owner and stands as a Man Friday and protector for that locality from the cruel local mafia. A clerk in the commissioner’s office (Charmy Kaur) comes as a co-tenant in Chinna's house. Love sprouts between them. However, she mistakenly assumes that Chinna is a soft natured guy, not knowing of his true image in that locality, or of his murderous past. Why Chinna killed the jailer’s brother? Will Chinna become a part of jailer’s family again? All these questions are answered towards the end when the truth is revealed by the Jailer's wife.
