- Brian Kolb
Brian Kolb is an American politician and member of the Republican Party from New York State. Kolb represents District 129 in the
New York State Assembly , which is comprised primarily of Cayuga, Onondaga, Ontario and Seneca counties, among other communities located inUpstate New York .Chosen in a special election held in February 2000-and re-elected twice since that time-Kolb currently serves as the Ranking Minority Member on the Committee on Banks, and is a member of several other standing committees. He is also a member of the
National Conference of State Legislators ,American Legislative Exchange Council , and part of theHeartland Institute 's Board of Directors.In addition to his duties as a member of the Assembly, Kolb also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Adult and Graduate Education at
Roberts Wesleyan College , from which he earned both his M.S. and B.S. degrees.Prior to his election to the Assembly Kolb served as Supervisor for the Town of Richmond and as a member of the Ontario County Board of Supervisors.
