Coconut Champagne

Coconut Champagne, composed by Denis diBlasio, was a song originally recorded by the famous jazz trumpet player, Maynard Ferguson. Coconut Champagne has a difficult baritone saxophone solo and a drum feature. The song was recorded towards Maynard's later years of playing, but it is still arguably considered one of his best pieces. Many arrangements have been made for the piece for jazz ensembles and even some concert and marching bands.
