Lashkar-e-Qahhar

Lashkar-e-Qahhar

Little-known outfit Lashkar-e-Qahhar claimed responsibility for the 11 July 2006 serial blasts in the Indian city of Mumbai.

An e-mail, received by Aaj Tak news channel, said it was sent by Lashkar-e-Qahhar and the outfit was associated with Al-Qaeda and Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Tayyaba.

Unreal?

'Lashkar-e-Qahhar' may well be just fictitious, as suspected by Indian intelligence. Reason being, to ward off suspicion from actual terrorist outfits — possibly Lashkar-e-Toiba, for the 7/11 2006 Bombay blasts.
