Mohini Sule

Mohini Sule was born on 15 July, 1982 in Leyland, Lancashire. She is currently a judge for the 2007 Gulbenkian Award for museums and galleries. She was a CBBC presenter (from April 2004 to 2006) and broadcast weekdays on BBC One and CBBC Channel. She also replaced Fearne CottonFact|date=February 2007 on the CBBC show Eureka TV. She has also presented Smile a number of timesFact|date=February 2007.

She started working in TV as a runner and then researcher at BBC Birmingham after graduating from University College London where she studied French Literature [http://www.thegulbenkianprize.org.uk/2007/judging-panel.htm] [http://www.thegulbenkianprize.org.uk/press/pr011106.htm] . She got her first taste of presenting when she began hosting live webcasts for the BBC Asian Life website and she got her first TV break hosting the Mega Mela Music Night on BBC Two, a concert featuring the best performers of British Asian music.

Sule studied at Westholme School in Blackburn, Lancashire. While here she studied Maths and Chemistry at A Level. She is fluent in French and Marathi and speaks German, Spanish and Hindi. In February 2005 she moved back onto BBC Two to replace Sophie McDonnell on the CBBC Two Breakfast ShowFact|date=February 2007 while McDonnell was in Fame Academy. She then went on to work alongside Mark Boardman of (markmeets.com)fame at the 2007 BAFTAs for the BBC Inside programmeFact|date=February 2007. Sule now works as a freelance reporterFact|date=February 2007.

Sule was accused by a TV watchdog society along with fellow CBBC presenter Sophie McDonnell of dressing like prostitutes. The claim was made that they both "wore tight shirts with their bra straps hanging on the side of their shoulders on purpose, wearing skirts or short jeans and high heels". The BBC ignored this claim saying it was rubbish.Fact|date=February 2007

Recently, Sule has moved away from children's programming and is currently a roving reporter on BBC Two's The People's MuseumFact|date=February 2007 as well as presenting for Eat CinemaFact|date=February 2007.
