The Melanau–Bintulu languages are a group of languages spoken in Sarawak, on the island of Borneo, by the Bukitan, Melanau, Ukit, and related peoples.

The languages are,

  • Melanau: Daro-Matu, Kanowit, Melanau, Sibu, Seru, Tanjong
  • Bintulu

A 2008 analysis of the Austronesian Basic Vocabulary Database[1] fully supported the unity of Melanau and Bintulu. However, the Kajang languages tied in closer to Bukat of the Kayan languages, breaking up the Melanau–Kajang family.
