Malabar Headland

Malabar Headland is a headland in Sydney, Australia located in the suburb of Malabar. It is the most diverse area of coastal bushland in the Sydney region supporting over 283 endemic native plant species and more than 200 bird species. It also has World War II defence sites such as the Malabar Battery and gun emplacements along with a railway cutting that was used to transport munitions to the gun emplacements. It offers spectacular coastal views with dramatic sandstone cliffs, and stunning coastal bushland.[1]

ANZAC Rifle Range is prominently located on the headland.
