Racine Unified School District (RUSD) is a school district that serves a 100 sq mi (260 km²) area in eastern Racine County, Wisconsin. It has 35 schools and a student population of approximately 21,000, serving six nearby towns and cities. It employs about 1,400 teachers and 110 administrators.^[2]

School board

The district's school board consists of nine members, each serving three-year terms, with three positions coming up for election every year. Officers are elected by a board vote every year. The board usually meets on the first and third Mondays of each month. As of April 6, 2010, board members are:^[4][5][6]
