Chadbourne is an English surname, originating in Chatburn, Lancastershire, and common found in Nottinghamshire and also some parts of the United States, notably Maine and Massachusetts. The name may be alternately spelt as Chadbourn, Chadburn, Chadburne, or Chatburn.[1][2]
