South Dakota Public Broadcasting, or SDPB for short, is a network of PBS television and NPR radio stations serving the state of South Dakota. The stations are operated by the South Dakota Bureau of Information and Telecommunication, a state agency. The studios and offices are located in the Allen Neuharth Media Center on the University of South Dakota campus in Vermillion, South Dakota.

SDPB's history with radio can be traced back to May 22, 1922 when KUSD signed on the air. But it wasn't until the 1970s that South Dakota Public Radio became a reality. Today KUSD-FM 89.7 in Vermillion serves as the flagship station for the nine-station network.

South Dakota Public Radio stations in the lineup include:

*1. The "Broadcasting and Cable Yearbook" says KESD-TV signed on February 6, while the "Television and Cable Factbook" says it signed on February 4.
*2. The "Broadcasting and Cable Yearbook" says KQSD-TV signed on January 1, while the "Television and Cable Factbook" says it signed on March 9.
*3. The "Broadcasting and Cable Yearbook" says KZSD-TV signed on February 8, while the "Television and Cable Factbook" says it signed on February 9.
