Bindon made her full Football Ferns debut in a 0-2 loss to Australia on February 18, 2004, and represented New Zealand at the 2007 FIFA Women's World Cup finals in China,cite web|url=http://www.fifa.com/tournaments/archive/womensworldcup/china2007/teams/team=1883725/squadlist.html|title=New Zealand Squad List, 2007 Women's World Cup|author=|publisher=FIFA|date=|accessdate=2008-09-22] where they lost to Brazil 0-5, Denmark (0-2) and China (0-2).
