Connecticut Superior Court

The Connecticut Superior Court is the Connecticut state trial court of general jurisdiction. It hears all matters other than those heard by the Connecticut Probate Courts. For purposes of administration, the state is divided into 15 judicial districts and 14 juvenile districts:

The court is divided into four trial divisions: civil, criminal, family, and housing.[1] (The housing division is only found in the Bridgeport, Hartford, New Haven, Stamford-Norwalk, and Waterbury districts, with the civil division handling housing cases in all other districts).
