"In All Languages" is the first and only compilation album released by British industrial metal band Godflesh on 24 July 2001. It is a double album. A videos DVD with the same name was also released.

Music

The first disc of the album features the band's most famous songs: "Like Rats," "Xynobis," "Frail," "The Internal;" as well as tracks from the group's EPs such as "Avalanche Master Song," and "Slateman." Disc two is a rarities collection featuring B-sides, extended mixes and even BBC sessions.

Critical reception

Ed Rivadavia from Allmusic gave "In All Languages" a 4.5 of 5 stars rating, calling it a "near-perfect career synthesis." The critic praised the inclusion of the tracks of the second disc which, according to him, "become especially relevant for a full appreciation of the band" and are " [a] great place to start discovering Godflesh." He only regretted the fact that it couldn't feature songs from the band's last record: "Hymns".
