The Bronzy Hermit ("Glaucis aenea") is a species of hummingbird in the Trochilidae family. It is found primarily in Costa Rica, but also in Nicaragua and western Panama. It has also been found in the lowlands of Colombia and Ecuador and has occurred in Honduras. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and heavily degraded former forest.
