Divination Usage

Usually this card carries the meaning of fighting over one's position, putting out the effort to keep something which is important. Note the superior position of the character.

Rider-Waite symbolism

* The person appears in a defensive pose against the other wands prodding in his direction, looking stressed-out, but firm.
* He appears to stand on a mount, which may symbolise his strong footing.

The Seven of Wands stands ready for his battle. It is about defending the footing gained. It is the ability to cultivate the struggles at hand into a stronger footing. He stands alone against a multitude...but he perservers. He mantains the fight.
