Belvidere, North Carolina

Belvidere is an unincorporated town in Perquimans County, in the Albemarle Sound region of the northeastern part of the U.S. state of North Carolina. It is located north-west of the twin towns of Hertford and Winfall at the intersection of North Carolina Highway 37, and Perry's Bridge Road on the east side of the Perquimans River though it includes homes on both sides of the river. It is the home of the Piney Woods Quaker Meeting located to the west of the river and Up River Friends Meeting (technically in Whiteston) on the east side (and five or six miles up the river).

Robert Weston Smith, AKA Wolfman Jack moved to Belvidere and lived there until his death in 1995. His remains were buried on the property he owned.

Belvidere is part of the Elizabeth City, North Carolina Micropolitan Statistical Area.
