The 1944 Rose Bowl, played on January 1, 1944, was an American college football bowl game. It was the 30th Rose Bowl Game. The USC Trojans defeated the Washington Huskies 29-0. This particular Rose Bowl Game was unique because two west coast teams squared off against each other, because of travel restrictions in the United States due to their involvement in World War II.
