Swonder Ice Arena is a arena and recreational sport facility in Evansville, Indiana. It features two NHL size sheets of ice for hockey, figure skating and open skating. One sheet of ice is open all year for the skating enthusiast. State-of-the-art sound and light designed with the technology used at the 2002 Olympics are in use when the skaters take the ice. Leagues for hockey from beginner to adult are also take place year round. On the second level there is a 10,000 sq. ft. workout facility with running/walking track.

The current Swonder Ice Arena opened in October of 2002 and replaced the older Swonder Ice Rink. The University of Southern Indiana and local high school hockey teams compete weekly. Current seating capacity for spectators is 1,500.

Swonder Ice Arena is home to the Evansville Thunder. In 2008, the Evansville Thunder won the AA Indiana State High School Hockey League state championship. This is the first state championship ever won by an Evansville hockey team.
