Layout

The station is located on the ground level. Each of Keihan and JR sections has two side platforms. The Yodoyabashi-bound platform of the Keihan station and the Kyoto-bound platform of the JR station are actually on the same structure, but are separated by a wall. The platforms are connected by a bridge.
