History

As KMMY, this station was known as "Y97, Today's Hot New Country" and aired a country music format. Programming

The Tulsa Sports Animal runs its own programming from 9 am-2 pm each weekday.

Sports Morning runs from 9-11 am hosted by Oral Roberts Golden Eagles play-by-play Geoff Haxton with various co-hosts that include former Tulsa broadcaster Bob Carpenter and local sportscasters John Holcomb, Steve Layman, and Mike Wolf.

Former Oklahoma State University football coach and Miami Dolphins and Oakland Raiders assistant coach Pat Jones appears from 11 a.m. to noon weekdays on the Oklahoma City Sports Animal with co-hosts Bob Barry Jr., Craig Humphreys and Mark Rodgers. He broadcasts an additional two hours from noon to 2 pm with "Big" Al Jerkens exclusively to the Tulsa market on KYAL.

The "Morning Animals" radio show, airing weekdays from 6-9 am, is hosted by Mike Steely, Jay "Lump" Lynch, and Curtis Fitzpatrick. The show is produced by Todd Lisenbee.

The Afternoon Sports Beat with Jim Traber from 2-4 pm.

The "Dominant Duo" from 4-6 pm where Jim is joined by Oklahoma broadcasting legend Al Eschbach, Berry Tramel from Daily Oklahoman and sportscaster Dean Blevins.

Inside Sports with Eschbach airs from 6-8 pm when not pre-empted by local programming such as Kansas City Royals baseball or high school related programming.
