The Baudelaire Orphans

The Baudelaire Orphans

The Baudelaire Orphans are a fictional trio of orphaned siblings, the main characters in the children's book series "A Series of Unfortunate Events" by Lemony Snicket. The Baudelaires lost their parents in a terrible fire prior to the beginning of the series. They then began to live with Count Olaf, a corrupt actor, impresario, and con artist whose primary interests lie in obtaining the Baudelaires' massive monetary inheritance. Throughout the series, the orphans attempt to elude Count Olaf and his team of fellow crooks. Their ultimate fates are unknown, as they are more than likely disappeared without a trace and their monetary inheritance possibly destroyed.
