Annual Events

Rammywood

Rammywood is a annual event that started in 2004 when Riverside High School was Museum Middle School. It was the brainchild of Anne Mastropolo ( School Librarian ), Angelina Mendenz ( Former English Teacher ) and John Mastropolo. Students submit their short films, documentaries, commercials and public service announcements to be shown off during Rammywood night ( usually May 30 ). An academy ( group of unbiased teachers and other adults ) view all the submited videos and vote on who excelled the most in each category. The winner(s) of each category receive a Rammy ( award ) on Rammywood night. Rammywood night is a reproduction of Oscar award night. There are papparazis, interviewers, concession stands and even a red carpet.
