Point of Rocks is a census-designated place (CDP) in Sweetwater County, Wyoming, United States. As of the 2000 census, the CDP had a total population of three. According to the United States Census Bureau, it is one of only nine places nationwide with a population of three people. The others are East Blythe, California, North Red River Township, Minnesota, Rulien Township, Minnesota, Hush Lake, Minnesota, Pfeiffer Lake, Minnesota, Livermore, New Hampshire, Hillsview, South Dakota, and Hobart Bay, Alaska.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.8 square miles (4.7 km²), of which, 1.8 square miles (4.7 km²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.

Demographics

As of the censusGR|2 of 2000, there were three people, two households, and one family residing in the CDP. The population density was 1.6 people per square mile (0.6/km²). There were two housing units at an average density of 1.1/sq mi (0.4/km²). All residents were white and between forty-five and sixty-four. The median age was sixty-three years.
