Kenyon Taylor

Kenyon Taylor

Kenyon Taylor was a British electrical engineer and inventor. Taylor was part of the original Ferranti Canada, working on the Royal Canadian Navy's DATAR system in the late forties and early fifties assisting in developing the world's first trackball [ [http://ieee.ca/millennium/fp6000/fp6000_datar.html From DATAR To The FP-6000 Computer] ] . In the seventies, he developed the flip-disc display (once common in stock markets). He was the father of the Canadian cricketers Vincent Kenyon Taylor and Malcolm M. Taylor.
