Michael Maittaire (France, 1667– 7 September 1747) was a French born British classical scholar, bibliographer, and typographer in England and was a tutor to Lord Philip Stanhope. He edited an edition of Curtius Rufus owned by Thomas Jefferson.[1]
His works inclued a grammar of English (1712)
