Blue Valley Recreation Commission (BVRC) is a tax supported agency that facilitates a large amount of activities and sports in
Overland Park, Kansas, United States. It was formed in 1986 to provide recreation and activities for the Blue Valley Community.http://www.bluevalleyrec.org/about.asp] programs are supported by user fees and non-tax revenues.

Blue Valley Recreation is home to many sports such as baseball, softball, basketball, football, soccer, volleyball, and many more. Children and adults have opportunities to join various leagues in which sportsmanship and healthy competition are encouraged.
The Blue Valley Recreation Complex, also know as Miller's Woods, is one of the finest baseball/softball complexes in the state. It is composed of 22 fields. The Complex hosts everything from adult softball dubbed "The Ultimate Drinking Game" too competitive youth baseball tournaments with many out of state entries.
Blue Valley Recreation is known for the quality and skill of its officials. All officials are well trained. Most notably, the umpires at Blue Valley Recreation are some of the best in the state of Kansas.
